Welcome to Semeton Surf!
We're a locally-run surf school and surf camp based right in Gerupuk Village, South Lombok. Semeton means "family" in Sasak — our local dialect — and that's the spirit we bring to every session.
Our coaching team is led by ISA-certified head coach Saban, with locally trained guides who know Gerupuk Bay inside out. We're not the biggest camp in Lombok — and that's by design. Small groups, real coaching, genuine community.

Our signature 6-day surf camp in Lombok runs every week in Gerupuk Bay. 8 surf sessions, theory, photo analysis, surfskate, drone video and a family dinner on your last night. The fastest way to level up your surfing.

Located steps from the water in Gerupuk, Semeton Surf House is the most convenient and affordable place to stay if you're here to surf. Comfortable dorm rooms with AC, breakfast included, and a team who'll help you get the most out of every day on the water.
Staying with us means you're in the centre of Gerupuk Bay — closer to the breaks than most camps in Kuta. No early morning transfers needed.

Saban did a great job selecting the spots depending on the swell conditions, and at each location he knew exactly where to position us to catch the best waves, often away from the crowds. I always felt safe surfing with him, which I really appreciated.
The organization of the camp was reliable and well managed. It’s a family-run business, and you can truly feel that atmosphere. It was nice to see how everyone was involved – from the father driving the boat to other family members helping run the camp and reception.
Another highlight was the family dinner, which was exceptionally delicious and a great way to connect with everyone.

The best surf camp I’ve ever been to! This is your go to surf camp if you actually want to improve in your surfing and have a serious camp where the main focus is actual improvement and not just push you into waves. The head coach Saban is an amazing teacher, gives you real time feedback in the water, after the sessions, during photo analysis etc.
I’ve been to a few surf camps before and surfed a bit on my own, but hadn’t surfed for 7 years and went from a 8’2 to a 7’2 in six days with this camp, I even extended my stay for another week because I was so happy with my improvement.
Highly recommended, don’t think you can find a better one in Lombok and also at a great price!🏄♀️
